Judgments not inter partes are inadmissible in evidence barring exceptional cases – Under the Evidence Act a judgment which is not inter partes is inadmissible in evidence except for the limited purpose of proving as to who the parties were and what was the decree passed and the properties which were the subject-matter of the suit – Evidence Act, S. 40, S. 41 S. 42, S. 43.
